Developing Your Leadership Skills

“Every house is built by some man”

Hebrews 3:4 Life is about vision. Nothing happens without vision. It is the answer that man needs to the seeming problem of impossibility. Nothing is impossible until the person concerned concludes it so. With vision, Jesus Christ said, mountains can move. Joshua the Captain told the sun to stand still because he had a vision. Vision is the key. Christians are children of God because of vision. Backsliding begins when men lose sight of God’s promised land. Men become discouraged when they lose their dreams. So you see, life is all about vision. No man achieves much who is lacking on the side of vision. Yet, there are myriads of people traveling on the road of nowhere.

Some think it so decisions depend upon emotion - how I am feeling - the mood I am in - the way I look at things at present - but that is not true, and can be a dangerous way to live.

Emotion certainly has a part to play but it is not the decisive part. What decides is the will. It is the will that enable us to make the decisions for us.
