Private Practice Building - 8 Online Stages To Overcome When Building Your Private Practice
Private practice building online does not have to be a mysterious, unknown process.
Stage 1: Discovery
Before this moment, the Internet was merely a place where you search for information from “reputable” sites and perhaps do some online shopping. When you discover that technology allows for so much more to occur, your head is likely spinning.
Stage 2: Exploration
Now that you have been exposed to the various different options available to you and your business, you begin looking around. You start to explore and see what other people are doing.
Stage 3: Curiosity
Once you begin to see what other people are doing, your mind starts to wander and wonder. Could this be for me? Could I incorporate the Internet into my business strategy? Can I learn this way?
Stage 4: Uncertainty
After a fleeting moment of consideration, you begin to tell yourself that the Internet is only for the “big boys.” Or perhaps you try to convince yourself that you are not tech savvy. Maybe you think that the Internet is not for your type of business.
Stage 5: Skepticism
The split begins. Although you have begun to doubt your abilities to work or utilize the Internet in your work, you also begin to wonder what it might be able to do for you and your business. You start to consider the success that will follow…if you could just take a chance.
Stage 6: Hesitation
You really believe the headline. You want to believe the headline. You just can’t seem to convince yourself that it might be possible. You ask questions. You look for answers. But you just aren’t satisfied.
Stage 7: Confusion
You are given your answers and it all sounds far too easy. “Too good to be true,” you might even think. Yet you can still taste the possibilities. You want to try so badly, but don’t want to waste your money or admit that you fell for a scam.
Stage 8: Overwhelm
At this point, you are frozen. You have thought about the possibilities so much that you are now further from making a decision than when you started. The only chance you have at success is to take a leap of faith.
Opportunities online are plentiful, and there is no better place to begin networking and building your very own private practice.
